    • The Traveling Teacher

Maybe! If I do, I will eat Peking Duck! (I also received your tweet — haha!) I loved reading your travel blog this summer. Where was your favorite place to visit?

I hope you’re having a fantastic beginning to your 8th grade year!

      • Alex T.

Thanks! I thought of east as west and vice versa.. Honestly, my favorite place to visit is London, England, UK. I just love everything about it! That’s a good place to go, if you haven’t planned on going there already! Have a great trip! I’d love to be the Global Ambassador (I want to be a real ambassador someday), but I already have a forum role, so I can’t be it :( oh well, at least I will hear about your travels! Have a great time, Alex

  • Mrs. Lynn’s 3rd grade

Most of our class thinks that you are going to Russia. Two girls, however, think that you are going to China. Have fun!!

    • The Traveling Teacher

Hello Mrs. Lynn’s 3rd Grade Class!

You girls are definitely using those clues well! Which clue helped you the most?

I have spoken with a person in the city where I will be visiting first, and I am hoping to visit with a school a few days after I land. I am looking forward to seeing how students in different places around the world go to school. Is there anything you wonder about other children around the world?

  • Mrs. Overend’s 3rd grade

Our class was split in our vote for where you are traveling. 6 of us think you are going to Russia first. 8 of us think you are first going to China. We can’t wait to find out!

    • The Traveling Teacher

You are really thinking well, girls! What clues helped you the most?

I have purchased my airplane ticket and will be flying from the JFK airport in New York City on Saturday, September 24th. I will post a photo of the city where I land within a few days after I land! I am excited to see how other people around the world live. Is there anything you wonder about other children around the world?

I can’t wait to keep in touch with you while I’m traveling!

  • Lorraine La Morte

    Hi,
We are so excited to follow your travels. It will help us learn about other countries and the children. We are interested in what they do in school. Thanks.

    • The Traveling Teacher

Hi Girls! I am so excited that you will join me as I travel to schools in other countries. I too am interested to see how different children learn in school. I also want to know what different children like to eat for lunch. What are some of your favorite foods to eat for lunch?

  • Mrs. Martin’s first grade class

We think that you are traveling to Russia. We made this decision because:
    1. Russia is where Siberian tigers live, and they are the world’s biggest cats.
    2. Russia looks like it is the biggest country in the world when we look at our globe and our maps.
3.Russia is to the east of New York City.

When will you let us know? Good luck on your flight. Have a good time. We can’t wait to hear back from you.

    Love,
    Mrs. Martin’s class

    • The Traveling Teacher

      Love,
      Ms. Gross, The Traveling Teacher
